Join us on February 23 for a day-long symposium of street style classes taught by icons of the industry, in conversation with the February 24 Studio 5 event: CELEBRATING BLACK HISTORY MONTH | STREET DANCE EDITION.

Class Schedule
A beginner-friendly house dance class that explores key elements of this style like footwork, spins, and floorwork. This is an upbeat class that focuses on helping you develop your dance skills and confidence. In this workshop, we emphasize the freestyle aspect of house dance, providing you with a strong movement foundation and practical tools to enhance your unique dance style and flow.
Rokafella shares the fundamentals and remixes of Breakin's Top Rock standards. Top Rock is the first segment of a Breaker's 'Throwdown' leading to Floor Shuffles, Spins, Freezes, or Power moves. Sneakers are required, as well as comfortable clothing; knee pads and water are also suggested.

Kim’s class is all about the foundations, basics, and different styles of popping. The class starts with isolation warmups and dynamic stretching. After that, Kim goes over how to pop properly, then focuses on styles and techniques to train for freestyle, and a short choreography of the day. 
This is a beginner Level breakdown of the Five Elements of Vogue Femme. Learn a series of exercises and techniques that will help you better develop your quality of performance and usage of elements and personality. Class is lead with a warmup and stretch before learning drills and taking the elements across the floor!Artist Bios
