Moderator Linda Murray leads a discussion with Ashley Wheater, artistic director of The Joffrey Ballet, about the period when the company was called The City Center Joffrey Ballet. Other special guests will join the conversation. Excerpts from iconic works, including Birthday Variations (courtesy of The Gerald Arpino Foundation) will be performed by current members of The Joffrey; dancers Edson Barbosa, Ga Yeon Jung, and Suzanne Lopez, accompanied by pianist Grace Kim.
