With the help of dancers from ABT, Kevin McKenzie (Artistic Director, ABT) demonstrates the invaluable coaching process that takes dancers from the studio to the stage. Mr. McKenzie delves not only into the choreography, but also the history and intention behind the principal roles inherited by the artists of his company. 

The Studio 5 at City Center series—featuring a first-time partnership with American Ballet Theatre—takes audiences beyond the proscenium for intimate conversations and live performance excerpts from the great dance artists of today.
